Well at the minute it seems that it's going to be either by himself or by Wheeler and the FBI (if they can catch up wtih him that is)

I'm not too sure now, Kim basically told him to go to Panama to escape. So I reckon the FBI won't be able to find him, and anyway, even if he does go to Panama, they won't be able to get him cos like Michael said, there are no extradition laws there so they wouldn't be able to get to him anyway.

I'm not sure that Kim'll let him be though - and won't tell him to come back or he'll hurt his son again the next time that he wants something to get done.

Yeah, I think Mahone is in a no-win situation now, unless he does everything that Kim says, then he is never gonna be free, he's stuck now with no way of escape!!!

I didn't think about it this way but Michael could destroy him - even if it was accidentally (or Lincoln running to Michael's rescue)

It would suck if he managed to sail off into the sunset - much as I'm all for the family-together-happy-endings I just don't want Mahone to have one!

yeah but there is still one episode left, still plenty of time for him to be destroyed, a lot can happen in 1 episode of PB!!!!
He wouldn't sail off into the sunset anyway, a happy ending in PB, haha, what's that!!!

Yeah but every other escapee that left has died, Abruzzi, Tweener, Haywire (I didn't forget him this time) and I think giving C-note a happy ending has kinda tied up his part of the story for now, to leave more room for the others in the finale.
I don't think we've seen the last of him though. I think he will be back, perhaps not in the finale but definitely in S3.
So I don't think that Mahone will get a happy ending, I just can't see him sailing off into the sunset, not so soon after C-note walked free!!!!

When Mahone phoned his wife and she gave him hope that if he quit the job they might get back together, his face lit up and it was the first genuine smile
we'd seen from him. I would like him to sail off into the sunset with his family
because he does care about them. Kim dragged him into the job and last week when he called Kim a little bastard for forcing him to work for him I think we realised then that Mahone was just another pawn in TC.
