Ok so I go to WHSMITH to buy the new issue of prison break magazine and expect to buy the 100 page special issue 3 as advertisied in issue 2 release date 14th june and find that issue 4 came out today and is not the 100 page special. have I missed something has issue 3 already come out in the uk?

I get the subscription and I haven't got issue 3 yet. I'm guessing it will be here tomorrow. Well i'm hoping anyway!!!!

I've looked in WHSmith the past few times I've been in thinking issue 3 should be out by now (wasn't aware of the date as I bought issue 1 and 2 while I was in states but it has the 100 page special advertised in that as issue 3 too). That's crappy if they skipped it though, I'll be rather annoyed  |

Issue 3 should be the finale special same as lost. I havent bought it yet but ill check on monday when i come home

can you not phone the subscription people and ask why it's a late delivery or something?

No idea about this - in the back of issue 2 it said it would be out around now  Better take a trip to Boarders on Thursday  |

can you not phone the subscription people and ask why it's a late delivery or something? yeah I'm gonna phone them later, but I went into WHSmiths yesterday and they had issue 4, with Michael and Sara on the cover but with a sticker over the barcode saying it was issue 3. It's a bit confusing, but i'll phone them and see what they say!!! |

I phoned the subscription people and they told me that 'Issue 4, the 100 page special hasn't been published in the UK so they are having copies shipped over from the US and I should recieve it shortly'
So hopefully it should be in shops soon and I should get mine. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

ah it seems like they just switched issue 3 and 4 around then. How odd =S Thanks for the info s72! Forgot to say, I picked up issue 4 today, and there was a label over the barcode with the UK price on it, and underneath had the US pricing so i'm guessing they'd been shipped from the US and it says that the next issue is out July 17th, issue 5. i'll keep you posted if I find out more though!!! |
