He did though because Mahone was distancing himself from the murder so he was telling him that to make him jump. I think it was still murder as Mahone was planting the seeds in Haywire's head.

Wasn't Haywire scared of being cornered and in closed situations and Mahone knew this and exploited it. Better than a bullet to the head I suppose and saved Mahone being questioned by head office. I just wanted to give Haywire a hug cos I don't think he was all that bad really.

At the start of the episode I just kept thinking that you rarely see a character upset about the crimes that they've committed - the only other one who really showed it is Michael (even Sucre isn't too bothered about what he did) but there Haywire was, realising that he'd done "a very bad thing" and upsetting himself. Aww!
