Ooh was it good?
I'm considering going to see it tomorrow, intsead of tuesday (when i was meant to be going).
Can't decide between that and watching Buffy and PB in my PJ's all day!!

that's a tough decision! Maybe you could do the Buffy/PB thing in the afternoon then go see the film later on ;D I'd definitely recommend seeing it though if you like your period dramas. It really is a lush film!

Was atonement any good? I love James and want to see him cos he is usually pretty good but I cannot stand Kira Knightly! She is in it a lot isn't she? I really can't take her!  |

Personally, I didn't think it was as good as everyone was making out, but it was a good film.

Thinking back I don't think Keira was in it a great deal - I mean of course she's in it a fair bit but it's very divided. It centres around the character of Briony more than anything. I thought it was fantastic, but that's just my opinion. I really like those period type films. And I was sucked in by the story. It's just really lovely to watch - the Dunkirk scenes are my faves I think (if for the music alone!) No new pictures in here for a while, how about this guy. His name is Matthew Davis and he plays Adam in What About Brian. Apparently he was in Legally Blonde as well but I haven't seen that so err yeah...  |

He was in legally blonde! I didn't even realise that! lol I like who plays Brian, now that his hair is short! oh I agree! I mean he was okay before, but he looks lovely with shorter hair. Awful name though (haha Barry Watson - I dunno it just seems so un-actorish). He's in like my least favourite film ever haha (Boogeyman *eeek* that film was SO bad!). I can't find a nice short haired picture. he looks horrid in all the images coming up on google! And that's a shame rebecca  I guess you could read the book before seeing the film? From what I've heard/read, the book takes some getting into but once it gets to a certain point it's supposed to be really good. And it obviously goes into a lot more depth character-wise than the film. I also read that if you're more of a bookworm than a movie-buff, it's better havign read the ending first as opposed to seeing it. But if you're morei nto film, the film's ending is better. Not that they're different, just in effect and like...emotionally. Does that make any sense!? |
