After enduring the worst day of my life yesterday I just had to ask what is everyone afraid of. What's your biggest phobia? (If you have one) I personally have a few... Heights Bridges Spiders But my ultimate fear has got to be the DENTIST. I went to my appointment yesterday, absolutely shitting myself, thinking I was having my teeth cleaned, and was informed by the bitch who is my dentist that not only was I having them cleaned and having an X-ray but also that she was gonna take my tooth out!!!! I have never been so scared in all my life and spent the rest of the day picturing her coming towards me with a pair of pliers!!!! So what are your fears??. Am I the only one who is terrified of the dentist?  |

I'm scared of the dentist but only because I haven't been since 2001 that I can remember (with was actually on 9/11 - hence why I remember) and I'm scared that if I go they'll take all of my teeth out.
I'm scared of nuts and finding nut traces in things (due to my allergy) so I always have to read the ingrediants a whole bunch of times on something new (or something I haven't had for a couple of weeks) because otherwise I'd probably end up panicking.
And I'm scared of spiders (obviously) but not to a phobia level - only of the really big ones and the ones that go next to my bed.

Spiders, wasps, bees, daddy long legs, ants, flies......basically any type of insect. I hate hate hate them. Spiders and wasps are the worst. Or those big massive flies that are weird coloured and don't look like normal flies.

Spiders,even more so now theres nobody around to move them for me.
Cats.Somewhere between being told stories about them sucking out peoples souls and having nightmares about cat scratches ive grown to fear and loathe them.
Clowns/dolls/puppets.I dont really need to explain this one do i?Theyre scary things!

lol, and I thought I was the only one scared of the dentist!!!!
I have to admit that i'm also scared of insects. Spiders and Moths mainly, but if it has more that 4 legs or can fly then I don't like it!!!

Even ladybirds? They used to be scary but I'm not scared of them anymore. I think I was worried about there being a huge swarm and my mum told me a couple of years ago that when I was a toddler there had been a huge swarm turn up in our garden one summer  |

No not ladybirds but that's weird cos my mum always tells me about there being a big swarm of them when I was little and not being able to cross a car park cos it was covered in ladybirds!!!
Thats quite a scary thought, I hope it doesn't happen again

Well this happened in Southport, my mum said it was really frightening to see so many, and on the news it showed people shovelling them out of the way. She said that she could barely see the car for all the ladybirds!!! That would be awful!!!

I'd probably end up cowering in a corner somewhere if that happened.
I wish there were some ladybirds around now though - there are aphids attacking a plant segment and there aren't any ladybirds to get rid of them!

Well I am not scared of so much anymore as I managed to get rid of my spider one when I was about 15 and there was one that was going to get squashed and I just picked it up cos there was no cup nearby.
Bit scared of heights but only sheer drops like cliff edges and ladders, though not as much as I used to be and I am never scared at the top of tall buildings (like the eiffel tower which my ex was scared of though he goes rock climbing!).
The weirdest one I have is Broccoli, but I have a reason for that, it is not really scary just makes me feel a bit sick looking at it particularly when it is over cooked - I still eat it though!
Doll and manakins creep me out too, but not sure I would call it a phobia!

I am scared of spiders but not as much as I used to be, If it ain't too big then i can happily get rid of it, but the big ones terrify me!!! |
