Noticed we haven't got a thread for these (unless I'm completely blind). I love my movies ;D I guess this is where we can talk about our favourites, our not so favourites and any good (or bad) ones we've seen recently My faves: Lord of the Rings trilogy Pirates of the Caribbean (1 and 2, though I think Iprefer the first. Looking forward to At Worlds End though ;D) Forrest Gump (never gets old!) Moulin Rouge Blow Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971 all singing-all dancing cheese-fest) The Little Mermaid (best Disney animation by far!) There are more but I'll leave it at that for now.

It's been ages since I've seen There's Something About Mary. Ben Stiller rocks though ;D And I remember Rat Race really surprised me cause I laughed loads.
The Hills Have Eyes 2 was quite...disturbing. Though very funny in parts as well. Can't wait to see Sunshine at the weekend ;D

sqeamish huh? i don't mind it really cause y'know....it isn't real. Out-right blood and guts I'm ok with - it's when you get films that create an atmosphere or like, something that's REAL that scare me. Like Jaws.

I dont really do horror films either.I have an over active imagination at the best of times! My favourite films are mainly ones from my childhood; The Goonies,Ghostbusters,Drop Dead Fred and more recent ones;POTC,The Nightmare Before Christmas,Corpse Bride,Sleepy Hollow. I like Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, what can ya do!? The Jaws films are great.I can remember being really frightened as a kid.Rewatching them now i can see that the shark is incredibly robotronic, and logic tells me that its quite laughable. But its still scary-the way people are dragged under and the red spreading in the sea,its awesome!

Such a good film - best I've seen in cinemas since The Prestige (which coincidentally I bought today on DVD ;D). But yes, Sunshine is awesome. I was sat there with my mouth wide open at one point and realised like a minute or 2 after the gasping moment was over! And blink? I must've blinked about 3 tims during the last 15/20 mins or so cause I was just so Really really good film though.

I was expecting something incredible when I watched Casino Royale but was really let down, I thought it was pretty boring. Give me the cheesy older ones any day!

Is that..Mahone? He is yeah, not too big a role but quite funny [or at least i thought so!] Jon Heder and Will Ferrell were always going to be comedic gold!
