Surely some more fans here? 2 weeks until AWE ;D  *woohoo* I can't wait for it, the trailer looks so...epic. And Barbossa is FAB. One of my fave ever movie characters by far. |

Oh, I can't wait either, I've been trying to decide whether to go and watch Spiderman 3 or wait for POTC, they both look great!!!!
The trailer for POTC looks fab though!!! I think Johnny Depp as Captain Jack is great!!!!

ooh I should've known you'd like it - the girl has taste ;D I'd wait for POTC if I were you (although I may be ahem slightly biased! I've heard mixed feelings about Spidey 3, and have seen the Toby Maguire dance scenes - they're um....wow. Comical at least!

OMG I love POTC ever since the first one came out. I think Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom make POTC especially Johnny.

I heard bad reviews about Spiderman 3 but POTC looks better anyway, I'll wait for Spiderman to come out on DVD.

Spiderman was good I went to see it last night bit it was a little bit too long I think. Pirates doesn't interest me - I couldn't even stay awake through the whole of the 1st one!

potc is awesome ans i cannot wait for AWE! and yes the trailer looks super cool,with the ships battling and Jacks one liners and Pirates from four corners of the world. XD 'citing!

ooh yay more pirates fans! ;D Sao Feng's eyebrows are way freaky o_0 I love Jack's line in the trailer where he says "..and I owe them all money" ;D Arf I can't wait.
hmm get a little prate debate going - Barbossa or Davy? COTBP or DMC? Liz & Jack, or Liz & Will?

Spidy was ok but it was a bit long, only go if you feel like some easy watching and a chilled night! The battle scenes are great though!

I can't really be bothered sitting in the pics for 2 and a half hours watching Spiderman, I think I will wait for POTC. I think this one will be the best yet!!! I love the first 2, I think they are both fab, so the 3rd one will be great!!!
I read somewhere that Johnny Depp said he'd be happy to do a fourth one but Keira Knightly said that she wouldn't do it!!!

Barbossa or Davy? Thats tough i like them both but i think Barbossa would take it.
COTBP or DMC? oooh at the moment i reckon COTBP,Jack is just so...Jacklike in that first one..all the swaggering and drawled one liners are awesome.Not that they arent present in the second one mind!
Liz & Jack?Jack on his lonesome,hes a pirate he should be sailing and drinking and loving and leaving!
Liz & Will? Im not a big fan of Miss Swan but id rather her be with Will than with Jack.

the same! Barbossa is one of my fave movie characters ever, he's just so...piratey. Like he's everything I imagined a pirate to be like - the looks, the voice, the honourable gent when he wants to be yet total badass when he needs to be that to. He's the epitome of pirateness ;D I do like Davy and I think the SFX they did on him were *amazing* but as a character I prefer Barbossa. I'm so happy he's back! And for that very reason I'd say I prefer COTBP. And as you say, Jack is more "Jack" in the first one. I think DMC is a tad overlong as well. Though some scenes in it I do prefer to COTBP scenes (everything on Isla Cruces is fantastic!). And DMC has piratey Norrington which is a plus! And I much prefer Liz with Will, not Jack. I agree with you - Jack and his freedom go together  I do like Jack and Liz's scenes together though but it's Disney....Will's gotta get the girl in the end. He's a good, respectable man! He's like the Disney prince of POTC  Personally I think Elizabeth is a bitch though and Will could do better. I think I prefer Barbossa to Davy Jones, Davy just kinda freaked me out.
I think COTBP was better than DMC, cos I agree that Jack is more Jack in COTBP, but he was good in DMC too.
And I definitley prefer Liz with Will than with Jack, I mean it was good seeing Liz and Jack flirting and all that but she has to be with Will, I couldn't really see her as a pirates girlfriend, I just wonder if they'll actually manage to get married!!
