Yeah it's like Liz has had her fun being all piratey, she needs to settle down and be the "princess" that she is. Though will she not end up living in a humble little house with Will what with her dad trying to escape with her and stuff, will he not be Governor anymore or whatever. Argh that Beckett dude annoys me!

Yeah, that Beckett guy is really annoying. I can't wait till it comes out, I keep seeing the trailers and it looks really good!!!

Yeah. Norrington's a much more likeable authority type. But maybe that's just cause I have a bit of a soft spot for Jack Davenport  Not long to go now though ;D Gonna prebook our tickets over the weekend for the Friday night showing. It'll be a nice way to end my last official day of college! |

Yeah Norrington's ok, but only since DMC, I didn't like him at all in COTBP. I'm not sure when i'm gonna go, hopefully as soon as it comes out (fingers crossed). I can't believe how long it is though, 168 minutes.

I didn't like him in COTBP at first but then felt so sorry for him when Liz broke his heart, you could just see it on his face. And he did the honourable thing and let Will be with her and didn't arrest him or anything for helping Jack escape. oh and  168! That's very long indeed, longer than the 2nd (which I felt was a tad too long). I guess it's the last one though so they have to get everything in. |

Yeah I know what you mean, it was sweet that he let her be with Will and that he let Jack have a day to get away. He was funny in the second one, especially when him and Jack were on the waterwheel fighting over the key.
I wanna watch DMC now, I might watch that tonight, to prepare for AWE.
I don't know whether I can handle nearly 3 hours in the pics, depending on which pics I get to!!

I prefer Norrington in the second film,all drunk and filthy,with his hair a mess.lol.

That whole scene is so funny! The 3-way sword fight, the chase, the wheel. Liz is really funny there actually, love that whole "oh..oh..the heat!!!" haha. I think I'll watch COTBP this afternoon, DMC tomorrow, and I booked my tickets for AWE on Friday ;D |

I've read a few reviews since watching it (only read 1 beforehand for fear of being spoiled) and they've generally been like 3 stars, saying it's better than DMC but not as good as COTBP, that it's a bit long and a tad confusing but if you just sit back and let it whisk you off your feet then it's entertaining.
My verdict: absolutely FANTASTIC. I really really loved it ;D I may be slightly biased though but seriously it was so much fun. It is very long but to me it didn't seem as long as DMC. It's like they realised what they wrong with in the 2nd film and fixed it for the 3rd. The pace is great, really doesn't stop and the characters all have their moments to shine. Barbossa is brilliant and Jack's much better in this than in DMC (personally I felt they forced some of the humour with Jack in the 2nd but with this it's much more natural like in the first film). Will's wonderful, Elizabeth's great - everyone just does a superb job! The monkey & the parrot steal the show though ;D Special effects are gorgeous - it really is breathtaking at times. I can't gush over this film enough I really can't wait to go and see it again next week.
Witty, charming, entertaining, shocking and emotional - a great way to end the trilogy. Oh and if you don't mind sitting through the credits, there's a GORGEOUS scene at the end. It's better than the clip after the DMC credits definitely, but still short.
