Just wondered if anybody else was into their movie soundtracks? (or TV even).
My fave soundtracks are mainly those of my fave movies. Elizabethtown's my fave for compilation of songs. It's great for driving, or if you just wanna chill out and relax. And it's one of those where you can pinpoint the part of the film to each song which I love. Also helped me discover the wonderful Ryan Adams whom I now absolutely love ;D
If we're talking movie scores, nothing really beats Lord of the Rings. I love "The Bridge of Khazad Dum" from Fellowship, the last minute or so of it. I'm sure everyone who knows the books/films will know which part of the film and the big thing that happens. It's just so sad =( Gorgeous music.
Also got the POTC3 soundtrack the other day and can't stop listening to "Up is Down" and "Parlay" (I *love* that it's like spaghetti western music!). And I can't stop singing "Hoist the Colours" to a point where it's starting to do my head in!

The music that they use in Lost is amazing (although I don't have it) such as when Jack told Shannon that Boone had died - it was so perfect for the setting.

yeah that's my fave too! I "Life and Death" I think it's called, the one from ep 20 S1 with Boone dying and Calire bringing Aaron back to the beach. It's so sad. I was happy to see the return of that bit of music in the S3 finale, y'know the jungle terk one? Like...it's the same as from the Pilot when Sayid/Kate/Sawyer etc were climbing the mountains/hills to get the transceiver to work. I love that music!

The only soundtracks i own are The Nightmare Before Christmas and Romeo and Juliet.
The songs from TNMBC are brilliant,theyre creepy and fun at he same time,and the instrumentals are perfectly eerie.
Theres also some covers by Marilyn Manson,P!atd and a few others which puts a new spin on them.
Ive managed to pilfer a few from POTC but i dont own the album.
The Lost music is so atmospheric,it always fits the scenes so well.

oh the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack is really pretty. It was weird the other day I watched Emmerdale for the first time in ages and they were recreating the film for a wedding and used all the music. I love that one that has "Everybody's Free" in it the whole "Brothers and sisters together we'll make it through...." It's gorgeous! *must go download* I mean err...buy.

I like the Jackie Brown Soundtrack - lots of cool funk and soul music. Don't tend to get soundtracks unless someone gives me one!

The sound tracks i like are lost, PB and Grease. You can't not like the Grease soundtracks....

I don't think they've actually ever brought one out, I'm guessing people are just saying they like the music from it. I can't stop listening to Alexi Murdoch's "Orange Sky" which they used in....Cute Poison I think.
