Cause this thread is on like every other forum I use(d)! I went to see Zodiac last night and thought it was brilliant. I've been wanting to see it for a while after seeing the trailers but it wasn't showing at my local cinema so a bunch of us went to Bolton instead. Worth it though, I really enjoyed it. I loved how everything played out in like a documentary-type style. And visually it's just shot perfectly, there are some SERIOUSLY creepy and disturbing scenes though. One of them ah seriously even knowing like...I dont wanna say in case anyone sees it. But yes, very very eerie; the lighting, the performance of this particular guy just...argh. Can't fault any of the performances either, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr and Jake Gyllenhaal are all brilliant, as are the rest of the cast. I really would recommend it if you're into any kind of detective kinda of shows. Don't go if you're just after a killer thriller type film though cause it's not like that at all. Oh and if you do want to see it, don't go with any clock-watchers! About 90 minutes in one of my friends looked at her phone and was said to me "oh my god how long is this on for it's already been on an hour and a half!" and I said I think it's like 150minutes or something and she was all annoyed that it was so long. And kept looking at the time every 10/15 minutes.

Sounds quite good. That is really annoying about your mate though! I hate it when people talk during films and play with their mobiles - do they know how much the light shows up in the cinema it is really annoying! One of my exs always used to check his watch - very irritating!

Of course you could always see the Zodiac version with William Mapother and Prison Break's very own Robin Tunney Laura Last one I saw was the new POTC one and the last one before that was that Series Of Unfortunate Events thing - which shows that I should get out much more often!

I just went to see Zodiac, it was quite good but I agree a little long! I wish films would go back to being 1.5hrs and they started when they say they are going too so you get the ads/trailers beforehand not when it is meant to start! I;hate that we have to pay to watch ads there too- like watching the trailers but not the ads!

Maybe I should watch this other Zodiac then. I bet it doesn't have Jack's (Lost) dad in it though like the new one I haven't watched The Little Mermaid in a while, you've made me wanna watch it now sof! It's still one of my faves ;D And rebecca, good to know it's a good film. I always seem to like Hugh Grant films but haven't seen that one yet. I just watched The Brothers Grimm, it was ok actually. Nothin spectacular though. Peter Stormare is in it though as this Italian torturer guy or something. He was like the main villain (after Jonathan Pryce as the French commander dude). Oh and I watched Corpse Bride for the first time yesterday - nice way to spend an hour or so =) (and yes I have been taking advantage of WHSmith's 2 for £12 deal!)

I dunno about this old version you are talking about but Any film with Goose (Antony Edwards) in is fine by me! I never knew he was in Zodica until he came on and I was like ooo it is goose, hope he doesn't make me cry again (one of only 2 times I cried in a film was when he died in top gun! I was only about 10, I hope anyway!). Then i noticed he had a lot more hair than normal - has he had those plug things they talked about in Friends?
