An old movie about a book?

So in the beginning there's a guy who gets sucked back in the past and like its the Medieval times, and (its a pretty stupid movie) he needs to find this book. And like while this is happening there's another one of him who's like "evil" it's weird. (There is a scene where he spends the night in like I think it's a windmill and there's theses little things attacking him. and at the end he works at a convenience store. haha do you know? lulz
