If you're flying to/from USA & Canada to an international destination, most airlines go by 'pieces'. You are generally allowed 1 piece of bag not weighing more than 50lbs, or 23kgs.Some airlines still allow you to check in 2 pieces (which is the norm) but it would depend on the airline. If you're flying anywhere else to anywhere else, it is generally by weight and is limited to 20kgs no matter how many pieces you check in. Without knowing which airline you're flying with and from where to where , I cannot give you a direct answer. Sorry. PS - if you're flying in Business or First Class, or is an elite member of the airlines' Frequent Flyer programme, you can of course carry more luggage. _________ CheapFlights| Flights
