HI, I'm planning a trip through the BC interior wanting to do a loop from Portland, Oregon following Cariboo Gold Country. Here is my current thinking on itinerary:
Portland, OR to Abbotsford or Chilliwack
Chilliwack through Hope ending in Lytton to spend the night
Lytton up to Clinton and then down to Lilloet or Lytton directly to Lilloet to spend night
Lilloet to Whistler
Whistler - Vancouver
Vancouver - Portland
So my main questions are: Is Lytton a good place to spend the night or is another town better and is it worth driving to Clinton or is it better just to head from Lytton to Lilloet?
