In a show which is populated with people giving into temptations (such as Lincoln's desire for an easy end to his debt by killing Steadman or Abruzzi's decision to leave his escape route to hunt for his ill-fated revenge) that Sucre didn't give in to find the money and instead returned back to Maricruz?
Then again, Sucre has always been different to the other characters; softer, kinder and apparently less-swayable.

I thought he would leave Maricruz to go after the money, but then again the only reason he wanted to escape was to get to Maricruz, so I don't think he would have been stupid enough. Although now he does have to go after it!!!!

I suppose that he is too obsessed with Maricruz to have risked it

He's in love, he's got a baby on the way - he doesn't wanna risk all that again after finally getting her back after the whole Hector fiasco. I'm glad he didn't go after the money.
