You have to define what you consider a successful part time real estate agent. Some part time real estate agents are pleased with closing one sale per month and the income it might bring.
With the cost of doing business as a real estate agent and the shared commission with the real estate broker this is not a lot of income. For a person with another job this might be sufficient as extra income.
