How do I get my 4yr old Pit bu

I have had her since she was a puppy. She was the only dog for about 2 years and yes she was my baby. She sleeps with me and has to be right by my side. It got to the point where when I leave her at my mom's and go somewhere she lays on the bed depressed the whole time. She has gotten increasingly bad over the last few years about other dogs having my attention. She will attack my mom's dogs and sometimes even my english bulldog for no reason. My mother says she only does this when Im around, its like she does it to get my attention. We all know the grip a pit bull gets when they bite...its hard to break her latch she has on the dog. She's never tried to bite people, but she just acts very territorial when new people come around. I have tried everything I can think ok, but nothing has helped. Anyone have any ideas for me to try?
