Sucre The Drunk?

Well when I first saw him shouting at Lincoln for money I thought he'd become hooked on drugs somehow (possibly painkillers - he was repeatedly stabbed afterall) but it turns out that he may just have been drunk.

So, will we now see Sucre The Drunk as opposed to Sucre The Lovesick? Is this the new way his character is heading? If it is, what do you think of the idea? Will a more angsty and angry Sucre be better than what we've had before or will it be worse?

I think it might be alright, Sucre was fun to watch as he sort of temporarily turned into the old Mahone.

I think it could be ok. A change in character for him. Although I do get the feeling that Linc would sort him out.
I think that a drunk Sucre could be kinda dangerous. A bit more vicious than normal. And lets not forget, he doesn't really have anything to lose now that he's split from Maricruz!!!

It will make him more boring. Theres nothing more boring in a soap then to have a drunk character (like Phil Mitchell!) in a programme. You need to feel sympathy for a character and although I like Sucre I don't care what happens to him LOL!

But what's to say he'll turn into Mahone if he does drink (or take drugs like I still suspect ) - I don't think he has the darkness or the nastiness inside him to take things as far as Mahone has. He's a nice character at heart and very self-sacrificing and even if he turns mean I think he'd have a hard time shaking off all that self-sacrificing. He didn't push Lincoln and we don't know why he turned back up at the doorstep. To help or to beg more? Hmm....

I think Sucre is drowning his sorrows. I mean the bloke has just told the love of his life that he isn't going back to her, I think he deserves to get wasted.
I think Linc will talk him round though and explain properly about Michael. He couldn't leave him locked in Sona, especially after everything he did for him, and saving him is S2!
He needs Linc anyway. Without him, he'll have no-one!
