In the states PB will end on 17th November with episode 9. That means Sky will probably continue for two weeks (or three as US showed a double bill recently).
It will return in the slot that 24 would have been on 14th January and play out the remaining 3 or 4 episodes to episode 13 when it will end possibily for good depending on if the strike continues.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I bet SKY schedulers are peeved!

I'm pretty sure it wont end. With the increasing ratings this season. Thats why I'm pretty sure they moved it up to Jan 14 instead of April.

MMM not so sure - the 24 writers are striking now and they are postponing that as they feel the public like to see this without any breaks. On sky news it said they could strike for more months!!! AP put yourself forward as a script writer and include roles for all of us.

Now if I got to write it I'd kill off Lincoln, have LJ turn up again and have T-Bag mysteriously lose his shirt and have to walk around topless all the time. I'm sure I manage to offend everyone on here somewhere by doing that lol! Okay, I wouldn't... but I would probably insist on the shirtless situation.

I'm pretty sure it wont end. With the increasing ratings this season. Thats why I'm pretty sure they moved it up to Jan 14 instead of April. afraid thats not the reason. Its because Fox have cancelled 24 altogether so they have a spare slot. They only have 12 or 13 episodes of Prison Break so rather then run new PB to December 17th as originally planned they are keeping the 4/5 new shows and showing them from January instead. They are only making it look like we are getting a better deal when all they are doing is taking it away from us earlier! and getting a few episodes earlier in 2008. IF the strike ends and we get the final 9 episodes I bet we would have to wait until April to see them. The only plus point for PB with theratings (I heard they were down by the way) is with nothing else on people will have to watch PB sp ratings will get a boost and hopefully, if the strike continues, a renewal for a 4th season.

I heard the ratings were going down too, and pretty badly at that! I actually really want them to finsh with this series, but then that is no suprise as I still think they should have ended it last series! Hopefully with the falling ratings and the strike they will just decide to call it a day and get something new out there that doesn't use the same format!

I think the show is far better now then it was in the late season 2. Those to me were the worst episodes of the series. Far too much padding for my liking.
I thought Season 3 started slowly but has been building up nicely in the last few weeks.

Yeah I would agree with you there!
Just wondering... a friend at work is saying it is the season finale tonight, she said it was advertised as that on sky. Surely this can't be true as they are still 2 weeks ahead of us in the US aren't they? Does anyone with Sky know anything about this?

The US ended PB on 12th November so we have caught up with them. PB is back in January for the last 5 episodes they have shot.

Sky announced tonight that it'd be returning here on the 12th January I think but I'm not certain right now.
