So, with Mahone walking out of the prison, is this the end of him? Or will he come back (either full-time or part-time.)

I doubt that they'll have written him out, he had become such a main character and it was such an abrupt ending. Even more abrupt than with Sara, they took a few episodes of build-up before she was beheaded. Mahone however, he seemed to have disappeared entirely within half an hour.

I can't see how he could come back into it though. If Michael stays at Sona and then Mahone gets sent back it works. And if he manages to escape from Lang and whatshisname and runs into Michael that would work but there seems limited scope for success.

So maybe this is the last call for him? But I still think he'll be back, if nothing else, at least for a token episode like Pope did

He has to go and plead his case to see if he will be a credible witness, but suffering withdrawals, I don't think he'll be very credible. I think he'll be back, no doubt!!!

Well I was starting to like him a bit now. He is more interesting now that he is going cold turkey! So in a way I kinda hope he will be back a bit, and I think he probably will be back part time at least cos they can't get rid of all the characters can they??

Well this is an interesting point now - if Michael is coming out of Sona and Mahone is going into Sona how much will he be in it?

Oooh - thought! Maybe TC will blackmail him about his kid again to get Whistler out! Maybe that's how it could be done without Michael there.
