After Michael had that conversation with Bellick and Bellick said that he couldn't kill anyone, not even himself. It got me thinking.
Bellick isn't really half as bad as the rest of them. With the exception of Michael, everyone else has committed murder.
And although Bellick is a creepy, freaky, horrible guy, he's not a murderer.
Now I still can't stand the man, and don't care what happens to him, but I was wondering....
Could Bellick really be a good guy???

Just because he isn't a murderer doesn't make him a good guy - he's still kidnapped people (including Nika so it's not just criminals) and gone in for some torture and he was more than willing to let Haywire die and took pleasure in chasing him and tormenting that girl whose dad Haywire killed.
So no, not a good guy in my opinion.

No I have to agree with AP, I think he just (thinks he) knows what to say to get in everyone's pocket to make his ride easier. He tormented T-Bag pretty bad remember, remember what he did to T-Bag's stitches - makes me squirm thinking about it!

I think he just (thinks he) knows what to say to get in everyone's pocket to make his ride easier. That comment's made me wonder... do you think that he was playing Michael when he said that he couldn't even kill himself? I thought that he was being sincere (for once) - although he seemed pretty sure he was going to pull the trigger before his mother told him about the reward so hmm. |

OK, I think 'is he a good guy' is the wrong question. I just think for someone who can be so evil it's unbelieveable that he's never killed anyone.
Although I agree that he knows how to get into everyone's pocket, I think he was being genuine to Michael, he seems to be trying to build some sort of relationship with him. Especially after telling him how sorry he was about Sara. yeah I know it might be because he feels bad himself but I think he probably does just want a friend.
On the other hand, he could just be cosying up to get in on Michael's plan.
Who knows what that man is thinking!!!!
