Definatly picking season three as his best - away from Michael the character has come into it's own now. Not sure which was the worst yet though.

Ahh, now I think he was best in S2, I definitely preferred him in S2. But I think his worst has to be S1.

Aha - but why?
I think I preferred season one to season two - back in season one there was more angsty Lincoln and I had to bother a bit about his character because there didn't seem to be too much of a plot without him but in season two he kinda fell flat on his face, he wasn't needed anymore and he was just... there.

I've already said in the Michael thread about Linc but i'll say something here too!
Linc was my fave in S2 because he did more than in S1. Linc had just got out of jail and was in a new environment, all we had seen in S1 was him praying and saying "I didn't do it, I didn't kill Terrance Steadman". In Season 2, although he was still saying that, he had more to do. He was in new surroundings. We saw relationships between him and other characters develop.
In season 1 he had almost given up. There wasn't really much to do with the prospect of the electric chair facing him.
He was definitely better in Season 2!!! And worst in Season 1!!!!

I agree with S72 - linc was best in season 2- it became more about him and not his past. However I don't agree he was at his worst in season 1 - he just didn't have as much hope.
