Huh? - That's what I was thinking this morning and yesterday I hadn't even heard about it but it's such a cool site! It's quite a basic premise really - you have a book and you put a note in it detailing what the site is and that the book is free and not lost and you leave it in a public place and hope that someone takes it home to read (rather than it getting thrown in the trash) and then (in theroy) they read it and then release it again - and it travels throughout the country (and in some cases even the world) like that. You can also swap books with specific people via post. How did I come across this gem then? Well I found a bookcrossing book this morning! Atonement by Ian McEwan, left in the local mall! Whenever you find a bc book you're supposed to make a note on the site of where you found/left it but nobody else had done that for this one. I do know however that it started it's journey somewhere in Watford at the start of September. So take a look at the site - I do think it's a cool idea! Oh and if you do sign up don't forget to put 'audiopineapple' in the referred by member box lol!

ahh I've heard about this. I remembr it being in the paper a while ago. Never come across one of the books though, but hey - you got a nice find haha. I'm reading that myself at the moment ;D I know rebecca was reading it too, and has probably finished it by now. It's a lovely book though =D

I've only got to the end of chapter one so far but it isn't too bad. You could always just leave some for other people to find CP - and I thought someone had lost the book I found until I saw that it had an 'official' note on it that says 'Traveling Book... I'm not lost, I'm on a journey' and that it was in an 'offical' clear plastic bag with 'Free Book' in large letters I wouldn't have picked it up without the cover though - it was left in the loos lol
