So - what is the most important thing you've ever lost (excluding pets lol) - did you ever find it again?
I managed to lose a folder the other week, I was sitting in the mall and had it on the bench next to me and got up with my bags and wandered away. It wasn't until half an hour later that I looked down and realised I wasn't carrying it! I wouldn't have worried much except for the fact that it was chock full of CVs - meaning that there were about a dozen copies of my name, my address, my contact details and lots of things that made me go "eep."
I made my way up to the Information stall and went "urm... did anyone hand in a purple folder" and the woman laughed, gave me a knowing smile and handed it over to me.
That was lucky!
