But what did the work on the outside accomplish? All it did was introduce Kellerman and make LJ a fugitive.

Yeah fair enough to say once series 2 started but before that we didn't know where it was going. It also introduced Hale, he was a sweet character! I think it showed us some of the conspiracy or at least how deep it went.

Oh I liked Hale too  . He was the first in TC to show a caring side. He didn't want to kill Letisha and he had compassion for LJ at the funeral scene. Then he followed him back to the hospital but didn't give his location to Kellerman. Then he was about to give vital evidence over to Veronica when he got shot. Also I noticed in the repeats that his wife was heavily pregnant, so Kellerman shooting him was extra sad. I think this is why he's doing so well in the character game.  |

I think she was definitely needed in S1, she was a bit annoying (and a bit boring). But she needed to highlight the conspiracy. So i'm gonna say, No!

Well i would rather she hadn't been in it, because she wasn't a fantastic character and her bits weren't very interesting! however, she was necessary to the storyline to find out about the conspiracy. And she showed another side of Lincoln.
