I was thinking about all the people that have died because of Michael escaping and how this could work in relation to his possible mental breakdown so I decided to make a list. This includes all the people who died in the Veronica storyline because Veronica only investigated after Michael convinced her to do so.

Not in Order

Tweener (Michael let him escape, sent him to get supplies)
Abruzzi (Michael let him escape)
Gudat (Michael let T-Bag escape)
Hale (Kellerman's partner)
Quinn (the guy sent after Veronica)
LJ's mother
LJ's mother's boyfriend
Veronica
Nick
Veronica's boyfriend (when her flat exploded early in the series)
Seth (Michael refused to help him for fear of T-Bag telling about the plan so he comitted suicide)
Possibly adding on Tancredi for his 'suicide' that totals... 11 or 12 people who have died because of this plan. And considering how much Michael feels the need to help people I doubt this'll help his mental state much.

(and that's even ignoring: Pope's job, Bellick's job and getting LJ sent to jail.)

Missed out Leticia Barris - the woman Kellerman and Hale killed when she said she'd testify.

But...

Michael - got into Fox River
Michael - got Veronica to go after the legal route - she thought Lincoln was guilty for the first few episodes
TC - Threatened Lincoln that they would kill LJ if he didn't stop Veronica
LJ - Run bitch run
TC - Killing Spree
Michael - Escape
TC/T-Bag - killing spree!

Technically TC did kill them but to Michael's brain (I can't remember what the condition was called where he remembered things well and was obsessed with helping people) it could be his plan that did it.

Just to correct things when the flat exploded it was the janitor cum security guard who got blown up.
Veronica's boyfriend got killed when that bloke was tracking Veronica through contact on the laptop
And what about Nick's dad? he was murdered but cannot remember details.
Then when there was the riot - the snipers got a felon or two didn't they.
The list is endless....

And the list is endless lol - but I'm not sure Michael realises how many people have died on Veronica's end of the story.
