Going for a 7 here because it lacked in places and the T-Bag scenes were barely worth putting in.

A solid 8 for me. I thought it set things up nicely for the season with the notes in the pockets and the Whistler thing, and T-Bag siding with Lechero (however odd!). Michael & Alex sort of allegiance maybe? Seeing as Alex saved his life. It's gonna be interesting.
Really like the new opening credits btw, but the music's slightly different. I love how each season has had a sort of...colour scheme. Season 1 was very blue, season 2 more green and this season it's browns/oranges sort of.

The new titles are certainly loverly - although I couldn't help looking through them and thinking "aww man! It was nice knowing who all the actors were" and now I don't even know all the characters!

I definitely think an 8. It was really good. I really liked the Michael/Mahone thing. I was shocked when Mahone kinda protected him, but I don't think Michael will get over Mahone killing his dad.
I can't work out the T-bag thing though. But I suppose he's finding his feet in a position of power.
I think it just seemed a bit strange. New prison. New People.
But it was great. Still heart-pounding!!!

It was agood episode but not "cracking" as it should of been.
Its difficult to see where the story is going too at the moment. You need your first episode to be the main draw to get the viewers but any one watching PB for the first time would be lost (no recap either for them!)

im torn between a 7 and a 8 its more of a 7.5 for me because i really enjoyed the linc scenes and the michael/mahone bits but i didnt really understand all the prison scenes. Good ending though so ill give it an 8

i'm saying 4. i was really dissapointed in the way it was all put together, it just didnt feel like prison break. (but i guess thats just a new method that'll grow on me) plus all the trailers, previews etc were describing sona as some kinda hellhole: which we now see it isn't. but i'll probably change my mind after re watching it

Well I gave it a 6 though I was going to give it lower but decided to be nice since it is the 1st of the series and they have to set the scene again and start off the storylines. I just didn't really find it that exciting. I felt there was barely any tension even in the fight which is weird cos I was thinking ooo how will Michael cope with that. but then he was all sneeky and tough and very un-Michael! I dunno just didn't feel any suspense there. Even when Linc went to the morge it was obviously not Sara.
Hummm what else happened? Well we found out Sucre was going to be in it even though he wasn't! Ummm Mahone killed someone - we obviously he now has to get in with Michael and well T-Bag was just not really in it so we have to wait to find out his role in it though he may have been better than Mahone!
The women we were introduced to just don't do it for me but it is early days so I will have to give them the benefit of the doubt I guess...
Here's to hoping that next week's is better!

I think that with the whole show changing, then the we have to get used to an almost brand new cast. There is only 6 original cast members, not counting Mahone from last season, and Sara, and we didn't know quite what to expect. I think that next week it will definitely get better.

I really enjoyed it!
Thought it was definatly better than some S2 episodes.
And Michael looked really cute! And bless him when he said "i cant do it agian"!
Ahhh.
lol
I gave it an 8. Hope the rest of the series continues in the same way!
