Now this might be a tricky one to think about but I was thinking about it the moment Mahone's black car started to attack Michael's white one (symbolising that Mahone is evil and Michael is good, something that was touched on later in the show) but is Mahone really more bad than good? Tweener was innocent but if you were Mahone, or if you were, well, you and these guys had escaped in this country would you be so quick to judge if you'd heard Abruzzi was gunned down or if you heard he killed Shales, who, as far as we know (although I wouldn't put it behind the writers to make it a twist later) was a serial killer?

Does any good that Mahone does outweigh the bad? Is it possible for that to even occur, esspecially now Tweener has died?

I think i understand what you mean, If it was us we'd be happy with what Mahone was doing for us as they had escaped prison and posed a danger to us, and as we would never find out what actually happened, I mean they'd just tell us what we wanted to hear, (that they had been killed cos they had become violent) we'd be pleased that someone was working so hard to try and re-capture the cons.
But I think i'd become a bit suspicious if it was announced every so often on the news that another had been killed. I mean T-bag i could understand as he was in for murder and paedophilla and whatever else he did and perhaps Haywire(murdering his parents) and Linc (cos everyone thinks he murdered Terrance Steadman) but not the others.

But anyway I think Mahone does have some good in him and I don't think he really wants to have to kill them all cos of what he said when he was locked in the cage, that he doesn't have a choice, and its just cos of TC pulling his strings.

And Mahone tried to talk Kellerman out of killing them when they were in the car didn't he?

Yeah, I didn't think about Abruzzi, But they'd probably tell us all of them were in for worse crimes then they actually were. Just to make sure that we'd be really vigilant.
