Yup - these polls have gone far enough to change fandom to prison break  I'm not sure what I'd vote yet. He's quite low down on my list - he doesn't interest me much and I don't like the way that he treats Michael so I'll probably end up voting that I don't like him but I'm not sure if he is a good character or not. Just to clarify - 'good' does not mean morally good, it means whether they are a well-written character. |

I voted hes a good character but i dont like him.
Hes a bit too aloof for me,but i think he works well as a character and he and Michael fit well together.

Yeah hes a good character as the show plot is based around him. No Linc no show.
But hes so cold sometimes thats its hard to like him. Michael and Sucre are just nicer (although Michael is getting worse) and even C-Note shows more compassion then Linc sometimes.

I think Linc is a good character and I like him esp with his shirt off - mmm. If he had been nice and compassionate he would never have got to his situation - and then there would never have been PB!!

But hes so cold sometimes thats its hard to like him. Yeah - esspecially the way he doesn't seem to care very much that Michael rescued him at great risk to himself, and hasn't noticed that Michael seems to be slipping mentally recently. |

i like him alot, sure he's a bit harsh at times but can you blame after what he's been through and what's happening with his son! plus, he always sticks up for michael and he's thanked him loads of times. he even said something about how it doesn't matter if things don't work out at the end of season 1.

I love Linc I think he's getting better this season as he has a chance to be more involved, and as he spent all his time in solitary and didn't do much, We have this season to find out how good he is. (just hoping for more shirtless moments lol)

I'm glad AP suggested I look back for this thread, nice to see some likeminded females out there with regards to Linc and his shirtlessness ;D Past the aesthetics, I do like Linc from what I've seen. He seems to really care about LJ and Michael and he does seem to be grateful. He just seems like a lovely bloke, and pretty smart too (some of those brains got to him too  ). Don't really know the history between him and Veronica but he seemed to get over her death pretty quickly though - though who could blame him, she was a snooze! |

I think he cares about LJ but I don't think he's as bothered about Michael, or at least he doesn't recognise how much Michael depends on having him around. When Linc was saying that he didn't trust anyone (when tied up) I felt so sorry for Michael!
Basic history... They used to date but she became a lawyer and he became a criminal and she left him and believed he was guilty but then Michael convinced her that he was innocent and she ended up dying trying to prove this.

I think that Linc does care about Michael but I also think that he resents him a bit because if it wasn't for Michael none of this would have happened - I mean he was getting the money for micheal in the 1st place - has everyone forgotten that? Maybe he feels that Michael just owes him?? I think he is just cold because he doesn't want to get too attached - just look at how many people have died! He has been through a lot and probably just tries to cut off from things.
Plus I think anyone would care most about their son, I mean I don't think Linc even cares much about his own safety!

I get what you mean but that wasn't Michael's fault, and he's done all he can do to make up for it - he saved the bloke from execution for crying out loud!
Although he could be angry with him from when we saw in Brother's Keeper and he didn't want to go through with the 'murder' and tried to call Michael for help but Michael ignored the call.

I like Linc as some1 said above without him there wouldnt be ashow. And we are getting to know him a bit more now as before in S1 it was more revolved around Michael and the other cons
