This is probably the only other poll that will be able to match Sucre's (so far) undisputed success but Michael...
Where would prison break be without Michael? Well for one thing it would only be called Prison and he is (in my opinion) more vital to the plot than Lincoln ever was and I do like him. He's a complicated character, he's both strong and weak and he's both confident and pessimistic. His character has been written to interact well with most of the other characters and he has so many different dynamics with them (his relationship with Mahone is, for instance, entirely different to that with T-Bag or Sucre or Sara just as those are entirely different to each other.)
In short, well, first option!

I love him, and agree with everything you said. He is just a fantastic character, and Wentworth Miller plays him so well!!

It's impossible to not like Michael! His complexity is a big draw for me. He's a very smart man, he knows how to work people, he's a quick thinker, he's a genius! He's a great actor (as in Michael is a great actor not Went, though that's true too!). Yet despite having all these traits - he could of been some smarmy up-himself arrogant git (hmm possibly like at the beginning of Brothers Keeper, possibly the only time I didn't really like Michael) - but he's not. He's got a heart of gold, he cares about other people and how his actions affect them. He's not cold-blooded - he could've easily ratted Tweener out to the rest of them about Bellick but he didn't. He's a stand up bloke ;D

Yeah I like him. One reason is cos he is a Civil engineer (as I am!) but they make him look good, civil engineers always get bad press as it is the architects that get credit when something works! He is great! He is sweet and lovely and pretty good looking  HE is very important to the story as he is the mastermind of the escape - and my god how he planned it! |

Michaels great! He's so amazing! Risking everything to get his brother of death row! He went through so much pain and sacrificed so much just because he loved his brother. Thats more than what most people would do! He even lost his toes for the man! The only problem is that he is very serious in S1 so he sometimes appears cold, which puts me off a tiny bit! But only a tiny bit because, lets face it, hes so hot!
